I’m thrilled to share that my first-ever art exhibit took place at Mendoza Ventures, a Boston-based early-stage and growth venture fund led by Adrian and Senofer Mendoza. Founded in 2016, the firm has built a strong reputation for championing startups in fintech, AI, and cybersecurity—especially those led by diverse and underrepresented founders.
My very first art exhibit happened thanks to Mendoza Ventures, and I’ll always be grateful to Adrian and Senofer Mendoza for opening that door. It was surreal to share my work within their network—art on the walls of a VC firm, right on Newbury Street in Boston. To me, that was not just an exhibit, it was a statement: creativity belongs everywhere, even in spaces built around finance, venture, and technology.
I also want to give a big shoutout to Aymber Page, who organized the event that made all of this possible. Without that spark, I might not have had this opportunity to step into the next chapter of my entrepreneurial journey—where art, business, and community intersect.
What began as sketches, layers of oil pastels, and experiments with digitization found its way into a gallery-style moment I’ll never forget. It reminded me that art doesn’t live in isolation—it travels, connects, and finds the right rooms to breathe.
This exhibit wasn’t just about hanging pieces on a wall. It was about honoring the path I’ve taken, the community that supports me, and the serendipitous moments that remind me to keep going.
